About Awareness Training

With Moving Wisdom you can:

  • regain the natural flow of ease in motion
  • learn to move free from pain

  • find balance as you go through life's challenges and changes
  • trust your intuition and learn to follow your intention

Moving Wisdom addresses your intention through tailor made private sessions. A session is shaped by what is arising in your life and by your intention. Movement is created especially for you to facilitate your learning within a safe and secure environment. The simple movements are done with focused, free flowing attention while lying, sitting, or standing. I will ask you to describe your experience in motion and teach you how to integrate this into your life. There are opportunities for rest within every session. Although I will assist you by guiding your attention, you will be actively motivating and supporting yourself throughout the session. You will receive a short movement practice to do on your own between sessions.

Moving Wisdom is the result of over 25 years of study and practice of movement as a vehicle for living to your fullest potential. It is an integration of knowledge gained from Laban Movement Analysis®, Bartenieff Fundamentals®, therapeutic Pilates, Movement Pattern Analysis®, dance theater, meditation and intuitive archery. After several years of teaching, my students came up with two words, Moving Wisdom, to distinguish my method from other movement practitioners.
